Youth Protection Training - This is offered free at the December 3rd Roundtable at Spencerport HS.  The time is 7:15PM

Leadership University - This event on January 10th 2009 at St. John Fisher College offers all of the basic training a leader needs to be "Trained".  (Youth Protection, New Leader Essentials, Cub Scout Leader specific, etc).  The council web site has further information.  http://www.otetiana.org/

OKPIK 2009 - OKPIK is cold-weather specific training for adults.  It's primarily aimed at Boy Scout level campers and is very useful training for any cold weather activities.  The training event is being held at Camp Merz in Mayville, NY (2.5 hours from Roch) on January 9th-11th.  See Carrie Gublo for further details.
